I got my collectors edition about 4 hours ago, really nice game, lots of tech stuff I really haven't delved into just yet there's a lot of counters and reversals but still I've noticed while fighting the computers I could be rather cheap at times and win which is good cause my Street Fighter skills have went down since the last time I seriously played one (8 years ago)

I can't wait to pick this up tomorrow. I was already interested in this but the countless extremely positive scores have sold me on this game.

It's definitely in the running for best of the generation. I literally played the game until unconsciousness. I was had unlocked all the characters but Akuma, Gouken, and Seth. I was working on beating the game with El Fuerte and I must of dozed off. I woke up with the game still on and it was 3am.

When I get home I'm doing it all over gain. I refuse to go on-line until unlock all the characters. Once I finish the game with El Fuerte, I should be able to unlock Akuma, once I beat it with Akuma, I get Gouken, and once I finish the game with Gouken I'll have finished it with everyone which will net me Seth.

i prefer SC IV by far, and the best fighter of all time and this gen is SSBB

I wouldn't say this is the best fighting game ever, probably not even this gen, it beats Soul Calibur IV which I love but it's hard to choose from Smash Bros vs Street Fighter, but I'm leaning Smash Bros, but it's the best fighter on PS3/360 for sure, and the best technical fighter this gen.

I'm a Street Fighter fan to the core. I'll take Street Fighter over any other fighting series. The Smash series is fun but never gave me anything approaching the satisfaction of a good Street Fighter game. Only games that got close were King of Fighter's 98, The Last Blade 2, and Soul Calibur 1.

I'm not that interested in fighters, but those reviews make me want to try this out. :)

Damn, wasn't planning on getting this at all, since I don't like fighters that aren't SFII, but I feel the hype is getting to me. And it's StreetFighter of course!

Shame for the lame 360 D-pad though...

BengaBenga, I would pass on the game if I were you unless you're willing to buy an exrta controler for this gamer. If you're playing on the 360, you're going to need either a stick or a third-party controller. That's something you keep in mind if you're on the fence about buying this or not.
