I think it might, but not by a huge margin!
It will be good to see the PS3 get some weeks at the top of the console sales in Japan, it is a very good console, they just need to justify the purchase with all those great games you have tucked away Sony!

Even if it does it wouldn't be such a big thing, the NA/EU numbers will eat those few thounsands up in matter of hours.

Considering the Price difference , PS3 is doing well in Japan atm relative to the Wii
The ps3 should definitely be able to stay ahead of the wii for several weeks to come, I at least foresaw this coming although I wasn't sure by how much (had the ps3 up by 1 in the prediction league) but I knew that now was the time to finally end the wii run.

Did anybody doubt the PS3 would outsell Wii in Japan this week? The preview just proves it.
