The best seller is on the platform with the weakest support on the handheld side. How interesting.

Surprisingly good perfomance in Europe for Crisis Core, The Last Remnant and DQIV. And surprisingly low for some titles in North America.

These are shipped numbers aren't they?

Infinite Undiscovery is way overtracked here on VGchartz.

Same with Last Remnant if these really are shipped.

FFIV is remake of a game that was released in N.A. whereas FFIII never got released outside Japan. Not shocking.

Also, bravo for fellow europeans not buying FFTA2. We want FFT back, not this downgraded crap of FFTA.

I think these are sold numbers.

To be fair, Square Enix's upcoming PSP games line-up is quite strong - Final Fantasy Dissidia, Kingdom Hearts, Parasite Eve 3, Final Fantasy XIII Agito.

All big games

Around the Network

VGC numbers (ending 2nd of Jan)
for IU: ~ 451k
for TLR: ~ 490k

SE numbers (until 31th of dec)

IU: 440k

TLR: 490k

as always when companies release numbers I think it's "shipments", because that's when these companies get their money, not when the games are sold to consumers

IU & TLr massively overtracked!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

@Starscream: well I don't know, Agito is a brand new game and will be available at the end of the life of the PSP (I presume). Crisis core is a prequel from the "holy" FFVII and was release during the come back of the PSP ...

Let's wait and see ^^

Really nicew to see the PSP doing well and with the support coming from SE the handheld will only get stronger in Japan and the rest of the world. The more depressing thing is that Sony themselves have given up on making PSP games, it is only due to 2 companies that the PS3 is doing any good.

How so? I get that IU is probably over by 110,000 or so, but I don't think they're massively overtracked. If you want to use that logic that since VGC has shipped = sold for TLR, then VGC has to drop down every other mentioned game, as they're all very close, or at shipped numbers.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
