Since you mentioned it, the spinner was the most disappointing item in TP.

Its only disappointing because of the lack of use after the dungeon you got it in. Int the dungeon, it was mad fun solving the puzzles with it

I second that.  Nobody's mentioned saving the gorons in the fire temple in OoT which for me(as a kid) was very rewarding :) plus the red tunic owns.

The water temple in OoT. The temple design and the music are amazing. I loved this feeling to be on my own there under the hylia sea.

The Water Temple in OoT.

My brain hurts just thinking about it, but in a good way.

I enjoyed all the Temples in TP, the designs were great and they were more involved than others in the series. The problem was that the second half of the game just felt like a dungeon crawl, and missed the strong narrative of the first half.

City in the Sky(TP), Lakebed Temple(TP), Forest Temple (OOT), Spirit Temple (OOT) and Ganon's Tower (OOT) are the ones that come to mind. I'm sure I'll think of more.

Good lord, don't make me choose!

Okay, seriously, I can't. There are so many awesome ones.

Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time. The music and atmosphere were out of this world. Only Japanese can create something like that.

On the whole, I think TP had the best temples in the series. There was an assload of them in that game, too.

But I like Ocarina's Forest Temple, Majora's Stone Temple and Goron Mines (no love? :() the most.

Oot's Forest Temple, Spirit Temple and I can't believe no one mentioned it yet but the Great Deku Tree.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

i've been playing through oot for the first time the last few days [got it one vc] and it's really unfolding into an amazing experience. i'm stuck on thewater temple at the moment, but from the looks of it, that temple is friggin hard. i liked the forest temple with the twisty hallways and the boss that jumps in and out of the pictures. and the fire temple with it's saving the gorons theme and the boss on that one as well. reallt, the whole game has been amazing for me so far.

also, i was playig through link to the past about a week ago, but i stoped so i could play some oot. i liked that game, but i'm liking oot better right now.
