Edit: Yeah IW doesn't like the Wii as clearly evident.  I have a feeling they will split after the milking treatment from the ActiBlizz corp guys and the Treyarch rivalry.  What do they have to lose?  They have the best selling FPS on Earth...

 

Splitting? I wonder under what circumstances they could get away from Actiblizz. It's not exactly normal for a studio to wriggle free from the publisher which owns it. I still don't really understand how Bungie did it, except they obviously had to make some concessions to MS.

Inifinity Ward's biggest problem right now is their hubris. That one guy's tantrums over somebody from Treyarch referencing CoD 4 were pathetic. Pride comes before the fall.

Well, Call of Duty 3 sold around a mln for Wii WW & we didn't get MW1. Who knows, maybe Activision doesn't like money? Either way, i hope it's coming or we're gonna have to start an activision boycott to go along w pretty much a boycott of every other developer save for SEGA.

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

Benga said it was coming due to the statement on the link.  Also, that whole boycott thing is something many would not want to have repeat of...

Thanks, i missed that. But it doesn't sound like they want to make one. I have a feeling it will be gimped :(

As for boycotting, i don't do it, but i don't see what's wrong with it. I can see why ppl that love gaming & their Wii would be pissed @ the way most developers treat their console of choice.

Yeah.  Well I figure that it will be gimped b/c most of IW's time and resources are spent on the HD and PC versions while the Wii is forced on them by Activision.  Treyarch should do this version.  I don't see it selling above 1 mil.

Wii gamers don't have the original and are less likely to play the sequel due to chronological storyline.  I just don't see it going past 1 mil.
