Dont love Sony but i think they are great developers not just in games but Tvs Cell phones Mp3s u name it.

I like their optical drives
I like that they dared with PS3, but I'm disappointed by its shortcomings.
I like that they are a big obstacle to MS' attempts to world dominance (although now Wii has the might to be even more effective at that and outside of gaming market other big companies compete with MS and prevent it from getting more monopolies than it already has).
I like that each time they try something fishy they are so clumsy to get caught and they embarrassed back-pedal, unlike some other company defying laws, tribunal rulings and fines.

Gaming became my primary hobby because of the ps1. Walkman was awesome too!

If you can't find something to enjoy among those games your taste in games sucks, and if you can't admit that most people view them more highly so therefore they are probably good games in general then you just suck as a person.

Is there something odd about loving entities which aren't actually human ? unless of course your referring to Sony's shareholders ...

I love a few of Sony's products but as for loving Sony...meh.

Just because you don't understand what I wrote, doesn't mean it makes no sense.

I was discussing PS3 fanboys, not people who happen to own a PS3.

As for the Sony fanboys, yes, most of them range from early teens to twenties. Most Nintendo fanboys are either very, very young, or over 24. Most Xbox fanboys are from America.

These aren't things I'm making up. People who had a PS2 as their first console, are probably kids, and they also make up a ton of these Sony fanboys around here, do they not?

1. 20 year olds are kids.

2. Their parents buy their consoles for them, for christmas.

3. Just because one might be a Sony fanboy doesn't mean that a Sony console was ones first gaming console....however those people are the exception. Most of the Sony fanboys on this site started gaming with a PS 1 or 2.

Who, I ask, shall refute me? Where am I going wrong? Once again, there are arguments that could stand against me, but most of you aren't capable of grasping them. Suffice it to say, I have thought over these arguments, and decided that they prove nothing, and the circumstantial evidence is heavily in my favor.

You see, when I post, I think about my stance long and hard. I take a few minutes. I am not prone to knee-jerk reactions. That is a major contributor to my dominance. I don't just say something and then think of ways to defend it. Childs play.

how do you know those games blow if you said it yourself "i havent played any 1st party Playstation games" ???

how can God of War (Critical Acclaimed)  , Gran Turismo (Critical Acclaimed) , Wipeout , Shadow of the Colossus (easiely the best game i still play over and over) . im actually a game collector , i collect games and i am not a fanboy about any console,

but Playstation always delivers something special to Gamers and thats why it is succesful , ps1 had been blamed at launch for having no games, yet it is considered to be the top console in history, Ps2 has been blamed for not living for the hype of the Ps1 yet it is the best selling console of all time. should we see this with PS3 ? possibly

and again im not a playstation fanboy . i started gaming on atari , then went to NES, but became a gamer when Genesis came out. and from that day no one beats Sony to it. sure Nintendo saved it from its worst hours,Sega pushed it, but Sony cradled it till it became a lifestyle and an art, while nintendo still thinks of it as "just a market place" or some kid toy and make the mario games , what the next mario game would be? it always sells even if its crap.

I love Sony because the Playstation always has the best games every generation.

I was a nintendo boy when I was young, from nes to snes to N64. But when the playstation came out I was starting to grow up. It had better, deeper and more mature games (in general, don't shoot me) The Playstation 2 was a great improvement, with some extremely memorable games.

Got the xbox and loved Halo and Halo 2, but what stopped me from getting the 360 when it came out was the online sub which I was tired paying for, the noise of the console, the look of the console (all my electronics are black) and it's unreliability. Getting the wii would be going backwards because it's games generally appeal to a younger audience.

I love sony because regardless of the crippling cost to them, they still went and produced the exact kind of console I was looking for. A sleek looking powerfull High Definition entertainment system, all my music and movies on it(320gb) set up on my WLAN. I only buy games that I think are really great, and I have 21 games for it :D

I also have a wii (shock horror!) but only 3 games for that, and one of them is Zelda OOT :P
