Video games are supposed to be fun. Whats more fun than carrying every single weapon in a game? That is why I like Resistance over Resistance 2. The ability to change the Carbine to the Fareye, then to the Hailstorm in open areas, or maybe you need cover, just switch to the Auger and use the alt fire to set up a energy shield.

Killzone 2 actually uses a 1.5 weapon system IMO (which I think sucks a bit. That pistol is almost useless)

Resistance 2 is a dissapointment in this aspect, because you could carry all the cool weapons in RFOM.

Halo 3 features a 2.25-2.5 weapon system (dual weapons & Machine Gun/Plasma Cannon)

I loved Resistance: Fall of Man because you could carry all your weapons! I don't know why they changed that for Resistance 2. Quite often you have to sacrafice an awesome gun for a possibly better one.

Another issue is health regeneration. I prefer a good old health bar and picking up med-kits. Regeneration slows down the game and its like you get hit, you hide, you get hit again, you go behind another wall. Boooring.

Asking me to choose between Halo and Goldeneye is a big no-no :-O

Definitely limited but 2 weapons is a bit too low. I prefer to be able to carry 3 weapons.
