The game will sell out of its first shipment, week#1. Can't ask much more than that.
As to why retailers didn't order more units, or why SE didn't advertise it... who knows.

As for CrisisCore, it should outsell MH2 - but by how much, we'll see. Lets wait for some reviews first - if it scores 37-40, it will be huge - anything under 32 will hurt sales a lot.

Well I have ZERO faith in FF7:CC mostly because Dirge of Cerebus sucked.
This is interesting news, but I don't think it means as much as if first WEEK sales are also unexpectedly low. So I'm not worried yet.

FF7:CC is a rpg. Dam I hope its as good as the original FF7 I will buy it no matter what. It might outsell FF CC. I dont know I have a feeling something will happen with the psp.

Maybe the sales are meh to those who had it pegged higher in the prediction league. lol. Anyway, I think it's doing just fine. BTW, there is no way FF7:CC will outsell MH2 in Japan. That game is why a number of them even own one there at all. But we'll see I guess
