Forums - Microsoft - MK vs DCU or SFIV...?

which game will be better or what will have better multiplayer, gameplay, better characters, etc?? I mean, which one is more worth-buying?? (games in my country are really expensive, more than $70, so I would like to know what would be better to buy??) :)

My console sales prediction for the end of 2009?? [made January 2 2009]
PS3: 30M -- XBox 360: 40M -- Wii: 72M -- PSP: 65M -- NDS: 138M

If you liked street fighter 2 back in the day then street fighter iv is the obvious choice. It hurts me to say this me being a big MK fan myself. I have not even played MK vs DC and i dont plan on to.

I am just waiting for a true MK HD game.

That being said i am getting street fighter iv. i think it is going to be brill kicking all me bro's asses on it.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 (A man can dream can't he?)

Street Fighter has always been a fantastic fighting series. I don't see how the above average MK vs DCU could compare.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

well I have MK vs DC and I love it.

As always there will be variables depending upon your preference that will gauge the answer of "it depends", and obviously I haven't played SFIV yet so my opinion can't really be 100% fair, but..

I think MK vs DC would be the way to go.

1. given the art style choices for the game I think that the direction that MKvsDC goes it allows for it to have far richer and in depth enviroments. Metropolis stage is quite impressive.

2. charachters - well obviously you have two distinct sets of charachters here. So if MK style is stale to you, there is a very true to the charachters version of the Super heros and villians. Midway did an excellent job painstakingly designing each charachter to be fairly unique and did an overall good job balancing them. As usual a couple charachters can be cheap but, is there a fighting game where this isn't so?

3. MKvsDC is a releltivly new idea (diferent direction for the series), in comparison, it seems to me that SFIV is pretty much SFII ver. 21. That may be kinda unfair to say, but thats how it looks to me.

So yeah dude, I can't say what Multiplayerwill be like but I'll play you on live in MKvsDC if you decide to get it. It's my recommendation anyway.

SF IV, it's getting amazing reviews so far and people that have played it in the arcade say it's phenomenal. Also it's being brought to you by a company that's not filing for bankruptcy so no need to worry about servers closing for online or further DLC.

My roomate is most likely bringing me a copy of sf4 on sunday...Ill let you know after i play :)

MK vs DC

Well i have Mk vs Dc right now and to tell the truth i bougth only beacuse it cost 20 euros wasnt even interested in the game but if u are an Mortal kombat fan than its the one u should buy so otherwise wait for Street fighter 4.

Comparing MK vs. DC to SFIV is like comparing Two Worlds to Oblivion, or Killzone 1 to Halo: Combat Evolved.

In short, SF4.
