people saying 8 is a good score need a reality check. In the video game industry where dozens to hundreds of games have achieved well beyond 9 aggregate scores, 8 is horrible. If you look at IMDB, an aggregate of reader scores for movies, you will see that not even the highest rated movie of all time has managed to achieve a 9!! An 8 in that industry is high, in the VG industry it is a joke.

Only in todays ridiculously stupid Game climate that only 9s and 10s are acceptable scores. 8??? How quaint, I expected a 9. Who the fuck cares? This is just getting stupider and stupider.

I think the main problem with RE5 ( That RE4 didn't have), was they gave your enemies new abilities so they are stronger and better, but your character hasn't evolved with the enemies. This is why RE5 is an unbalanced , broken mess of a game.

This may very well be the most hilarious post of all time.  And that's saying a lot.  Sorry, man.

As much as I loved RE4, the review scores were a bit high imo.  It deserves at least a 9, but a lot of the scores from reputable ( ... ) sources were closer to a 10 and that felt like a bit much to me.

well at least they respect the 8, as in an 8 is a very good game. Some people will probably flip out over this anyway

An 8 a a good score. A 7 isn't even a bad score, especially if you like that type of game.
