LBP2 would be a great launch title though. And no need to comment on GT6 possibly being one... we all know that things would sell like hotcakes no matter what...

They will not make a SonySports and bundle it with the console, it would be proclaiming that they are a gen behind Nintendo

Specs: Cell2 processor: It'll be about 4 times faster than the original.
Memory: 2GB DDR4 RAM
Storage: 500GB HDD
Media Bay: Slot loading Blu Ray Drive - fast enough that no installs are required. (Full Installs optional)
Controllers: DualSplit Controller - Pretty much a dual shock that can break apart - each section has it's own battery, force feed back motor and gyro sensor.
Console: Will be about the size of the PS2 but much more streamlined - It'll be the best looking hardware of he next generation.

More predictions:

- They will continue with their loss leading strategy but will only lose money for one year and have a clear plan of when to drop prices, just as Microsoft ahve done this generation.
- They will copy Nintendo's release strategy of being top heavy - i.e. thay will release most of their top tier titles in the first 2 years of launch to generate hardware sales quickly, they will delay this slightly however as to create more demand as the console is beginning to break even.
- They will include a pack in title that includes a movie about how to get the most out of the PS4. A game based on the systems strengths will also be in their.
- Games will support 1080p resolution at 60 FPS but some third party games will still be lower than this.
- Sony will again make a big mistake
- Killzone 3 will be a launch title and may be Wii's Twilight Princess, a port with improved features..

Lol. GT5 releases either 2009 or 2010. You think they can make a game in 2-3 years? On a system with even better graphics than the PS3?

Uncharted 3 is possible, but not very likely. They'll need to start work three years before the PS4 is released. There will be no dev kits.

In short, this would be nice, but not likely.

I don't think Sony's main issue should be the specs of hardware(except all backwards compatibility and blu-ray), but the price and the big exclusives of software. Should they focus on that they'll do much better next gen.

Launch price: Around that, yeah

Media: I agree

Controller: Break apart dual shock 4 controller with true motion capabilities is what i would assume.

Launch titles: I dunno.

Release date: I dunno this either.

But i also think they would incoorporate true 3d. One that makes the ps4 able to produce 3d images to show on your average HDTV, with ofcourse support to turn it off (having it as a feature that you yourself choose)

And it would be best if it were able to do this without 3d glasses :p

I don't agree with

- the price: 3000-350 pounds would be more realistic
- Launch titles: honestly, I laugh: Uncharted will remain a PS3 licence, resistance too

But I agree with blu ray as the media.

I think R2, LBP2 and Uncharted can be made for launch of the ps4. Uncharted2 is being released 2 years after the original and R2 just over 2 years from it's original.

Since inhouse devs will be accustomed to the cell, they should be able to do a better and quicker job.

Don't forget movie hybrid BRs. I would a Chronicles or riddick sequel (game and movie).

It would be nice if Sony had an onhouse team build a beat'em up. Can you imagine a game like Tekken or Virtua Fighter, but with solid snake, nathan Drake, Kratos, a chimera, a helghast, sackboy, Nariko, Ethan from Resistance, Infamous dude and others I may have left out.

As long as they don't use such a simplistic fight system as brawl i'm all in for it. Want something sofisticated.
