I'd buy a PSN release!

FFVIII is as great as it is. it doesn't need a sequel, unlike FFVII. a PSN re-release would be nice but SE has been giving us the short end of the stick.

Re-release all the PS1 FFs, I really need to play them, I feel like I have missed out on a lot not playing them

The game is best forgotten. Better to let its aniversary slip by without mentioning it quite honestly. It makes the company look better. It would be like Nintendo celebrating the 10th anniversary of Mario's Time Machine.

FF8 was meant to be FF7's continuation

these are the FF noobs who though each FF wasn't "different" after playing FF7....n thought FF8 was a "sequel"

I am not saying Gnizmo you are one of them as I have seen you are a FF fan from the old days....so you probably have other reasons for hating it

 Hey now. Every thread about a game is going to have someone who hates it. At least I am content to leave one vitriolic post and back it up if anyone asks about it. Really I am doing this thread a service by being the resident hater. There are far more obnoxious people than me that could step-in. Besides, the question in the thread title is "Will S-E start milking it?" so I was kind of elaborating on why it should be no.

i didnt really like the magic system in FF8 i liked using it in FF7 you could finished the and not no it was there
i liked levelling up the summons (GF) and getting skills from them
the games opening cut-scene was my favourite opening to a FF game

 Hrmm. Thats a tough call to which one is better over-all. The difference isn't that great, but I would have to give it to FF7. At least 7 didn't punish you for the sin of using a magic spell in a fantasy game.
