Ratchet and Clank and Resistance 2 instead of Warhawk. Warhawk is online only and IMO it is too hard for novice gamers.

wipeout hd looks awesome

LBP is a very good game if you are online, some excellent user levels. I haven't played VC yet but it does look good. Uncharted is a must even if you only play through once. Everybody's golf i found excellent. If you do plan on getting some PSN games i would suggest getting a bigger HDD. There are a lot of good games on there. My faves being Wipeout HD, super stardust HD, flow and Tekken but there are a lot i have yet to try that are well rated.

I would recommend R2, heavenly sword and kz2. On psn I would recommend high velocity bowling, super star dust hd and flower.

Valkyria, Wipeout HD, Uncharted and dual shock 3.

dont buy a used PS3 wait for the Price Cut in April and get a new one...

@ slash: since that price cut is still unconfirmed and for many highly unlikely, that may not be the best call...
