This looks like a great collection. I am envious of PS3/Xbox 360 owners. (Given the classics, neo classics and redone classics on Xbox 360, I am leaning toward eventually picking up that console).

What I don't get is why this collection was not done for the Wii. After all, many older gamers who would remember these games have gone to that system. The reason cannot be technological since many of these same games were in the PS2 collection. Could it be that Sega wants to milk the VC profits?

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I think it is partly milking.  But maybe retro collections haven't sold well on the Wii.  I do know the Wii got Gunstar Heroes, so that is good.

Anyhow, this is a reason why it is good to own multiple consoles, so you get everything.

Yeh I'm getting this. Are there trophies for each game?

As far as I know they are.  360 gets achievements.  A key part is unlocking the bonus content.

By the way, before I post a third thread, I will say that playing it does remind me of how good the original Streets of Rage was, particularly in the music department.

Looks cool, is it full priced?

$30 USA, plus tax ($29.99).  You get about 40 Genesis games, 2 Master System games, and 7 arcade games.  Finally Shinobi comes home from the arcade.  Please read comments here before buying.  I am happy with it, but someone else ripped the controls and sound.  The sound is nowhere in the same horrible class as the Genesis emulation on the Dreamcast.  THAT was horrible.

That's a good price, much better than if I sought out all the Genesis versions of those games (though I love the nostalgia factor). I'll probably get this eventually, just bought A Vampyre's Story and still undecided on Killzone 2 so I'm saving my money at the moment.

its $40 here in canada :@
