Well even if what your saying is true about basically raiden being lame at sword fighting you have to take into account the fact that you can shove a sword right through raiden's stomach and he just keeps going. Never saw master chief do that.

Raiden is by no means lame at sword fighting. I just said if he hits chief with his sword he'll have to hit and run and make sure he doesn't have the energy sword on him.

The energy sword increases leaping ability and speed and is a guaranteed one hit kill.

Look what the damage the gravity hammer does even while riding in a vehicle. One hit with this on your body is a kill.

Hammer might kill a normal person in one hit but this guy has an even better exo skeleton that the original ninja (gray fox) in metal gear 1 that had rex stand on it and it did not break until he slammed again. So i think a sword would just bounce right off or slid and make a horrible noise like finger nails on a chalk board. And as for the hammer I don't think that the power of gravity hammer is more than the pressure of the celling falling on raiden as he left building in shadow mosses or the boat crushing on him.

That gravity hammer can kill anything that breathes air on earth and destroy inanimate objects (LOL). There is no exoskeleton on earth created with known elements from our periodic table that it cannot brreak. Why might you ask? Because its Alien technology, which would crush Raiden or disable him if he's near. Secondly its a symbol of high rank. If it doesn't hit you, it will knock you very far away if you're close by. It has area effect pushes you back as well (Hence the term gravity hammer). You can knock thrown grenades and rockets away from (As long as the timing is right).
