Hammer might kill a normal person in one hit but this guy has an even better exo skeleton that the original ninja (gray fox) in metal gear 1 that had rex stand on it and it did not break until he slammed again. So i think a sword would just bounce right off or slid and make a horrible noise like finger nails on a chalk board. And as for the hammer I don't think that the power of gravity hammer is more than the pressure of the celling falling on raiden as he left building in shadow mosses or the boat crushing on him.
