I don't get how people can like those bi-colour ones... it looks like a car that has had 1 panel re-sprayed a different colour.

 For some yes. when i saw the Ice Blue, i instantly fell love with the color. i had a strong feeling in my gut that it wasn't gonna be released for a long time and wasnt be a permanent color either so i imported it after a long wait, i was so anxious to get it it was expensive but for me it was worth it. and this was long ago before they released it here on black friday.

@twroo: black/blue is the only way to go! Plus the black back is a matte finish, so there's no fingerprints.

The DSi is supposed to have a matte finish instead of the glossy DS Lite finish, right?

That's right, the bottom part has a great finish ideal for playing, while the top gives it personality with a discrete blue that complements the black. Best of both worlds!!! I do like that glossy finish, but because of the smudge marks it attracts,I'd prefer if it was all matte (DSi, not interested right now).

@TWRoO: Anyone is entitled to their opinion, that is why Nintendo rolled all those colours out. Dark Blue is the "prettiest" for me, although that glossy finish...

if this is true, thyen i would be happy to sell my onyx dsl to anyone that wabnts it, i need some spare cash to buy the dsi:b

It's the DS.

They'll all be gone really fast unless Nintendo had a big load of them just sitting around waiting to shipped, which I doubt.
