Forums - Gaming - Best water in a game!

Honestly, I would take the water in Crysis to the water in Fallout 3. Some ripples don't compensate for the blandness of Fallout 3's water compared to Crysis (or other games for that matter).

It was just to explain my point...

Crysis water is the best looking water in games nowadays. Fact.

But is it the more realistic physically? HELL NO!

The same for Bioshock. It looks good. JUST looks good...

Uncharted, it is just amazing

For people bringing out CRYSIS:

Crysis water looks good, but physics on it don't. See the video below:

The water moves naturally, when the dude throws objects it just keeps moving that way and appear some designed white effects. Understand what I am talking about?

Let's take a look at Fallout 3 water:

The interaction level is much more high then Crysis...
Do you guys understand it?

You're dellusional. That Crysis clip obliterates Fallout 3! Complete Obliteration:

The realistic physics of the barrel

The water sprites from the bullets

The ripples from any object thrown at the water

The awesome light refraction underwarter

The amazing grenade explosion underwater

You must be blind.

Uncharted by far.

Pokemon Silver has the best water...

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

uncharted.

i was going to say bioshock but the water looks like it has a layer of oil and isn't very realistic

Bioshock? They had one programmer and one artist working exclusively on the water, and it shows!

the opening scene in bioshock it had a wonderfull water effect one of the best looking. im meaning when u crash and there fire all over. but in game water wasnt the same grafix as opening crash.fire scene............imo th best with interactiviy ios uncharted and resistance 2

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

The first water that I remember truly blowing me away was Baldur's Gate:Dark Alliance for the PS2. I used to run around in circles in the pools of water.

If you notice on the video, the water on Uncharted is not that realistic either ..

There's no ripples created by the jet ski as it cuts trough the water..notice the front of the jet ski ..

There's only a gush of water on the back of the jet ski created by the jet ski's engine as it move forward..

Where is the ripples on front of the jet ski as it cuts through the water? is all I'm saying..

Bioshock all the way..
