Bioshock? They had one programmer and one artist working exclusively on the water, and it shows!

But interectivity of bioshock's water is almost ZERO!!!
It looks good, but tham, objects on it make absolutely NO ripples....

But I think there is much more space for improvement this gen :P

The first Red Baron for the PC (DOS, 286 CPU). Look at all that detail! Sorry couldn't find a screenshot with more water...

I think the best interactive water is Wave Race, both the N64 and GC versions.
Obviously uncharted baby
