8 X360 games
18 Wii games
I play Wii the most (due to MKWii i guess) and got the Wii 6 months earlier

10 DS games
10 PSP games
I play Ds the most since I got it.... but had the PSP much longer

We don't represent the average core gamer but perhaps, the fact that more Nintendo fans come here because Nintendo is ahead in the console race approximates the casual gamer count of people who would never come to a site like this in the first place.  The other sites are riddled with HD owners because much of the hardcore gamers own HD consoles and the people to frequent video game sites are the hardcore.  So actually other sites would be far more biased than this one.  Don't you still find it interesting how closely the poll numbers resemble the worldwide sales distribution?  I would say that the fact that this site is sales driven and attracts people focused on sales somehow simulates the actual sales environment.  Perhaps because most core gamers don't care about sales, they only want to play the games, and most casuals also don't care about sales or frequent gaming sites, so it seems that there might be a better chance for unbias here than you suspect.  To say there is or is not bias in this case would simply be assumption unless other aspects were further researched however.

I think you misunderstand the difference between a scientific study and an informal poll.

1. There are more nintendo fans here because Nintendo is selling better  (dont really see how you can know that)

2. Only the hardcore of hard core of nintedo fans visit this site.... but every single HD console owner does? (dont really see how you can know that) ..... even if that is true those two cancle each other out :P

Oh, what does that mean? I just thought one shouldn't make conclusions off an "informal poll" (which is kinda done in the OP).

@mmnin: I'm well aware other videogame sites wouldn't be representative, either. Believe me, I'm a huge Nintendo fan. That doesn't mean this site is any better, though.

I think the fact that the majority of people on this site voted that LBP would sell better than Gears 2 shows how reliable a poll, even on VGC, is.

You can draw a conclusion from any poll.  For example, if I ask 10 people whether they prefer chocolate or vanilla ice cream and 9 say chocolate, then I can draw the conclusion that of those 10 more prefer chocolate.  What I cannot do is generalize this to the entire world saying "most people prefer chocolate ice cream."

I see the OP as drawing a conclusion more along the lines of the former though rereading it I see how it sounds like the latter.
