I am not impressed either...Im blown away. Wow...who knew 50 bucks +another $10 for maps will get you all this from a single game.

agreed there is so much replay value in halo 3 its insane and they just keep adding new life into it. And ssj12 the key thing you said in there is UT3 on PC. On PC sure there are tons of mods but you don't see stuff like this on home consoles every day you know. Thats whats awesome about Bungie and Halo is that they are always innovating the FPS genre on home consoles no matter how much people like to hate on it.

*looks left at LittleBigPlanet*
*looks right at Unreal Tournament 3 on the PlayStation 3*
*Looks forward to that one RTS game exclusive to the PS3 that will have user created content in it*
I think you should more or less say "you dont see things like this on the 360" since the PS3 has it.

Halo 3 did it first for consoles in comparison to said 3 games.
Halo 3 Release date /w forge - Sept. 25, 07
LittleBigPlanet - Oct, 28th 08
Unreal Tournament 3 - Dec 12th, 07
Unknown RTS /w user created content - ???
Sure forge wasn't nearly as awesome as it was back in the day as it is now, but it didn't stop people's creativity.

UT3 was still a port of the PC version which means it has been in development just as long or longer. So really you should be comparing the PC version's release versus Halo 3's since the user content for UT3 PS3 was just in limbo.

PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 was released November 19th. Still after Halo 3. Although if we're comparing PC modding versus console modding, any arguement made in favor of console gaming is still moot. As console gaming modding is still in its very early stages, and computer gaming modding is a very rich and vibrate community.
Also, if the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 is a port off the PC version. Then I again have to give a tip of my hat towards Bungie for being able to create a console exclusive with the functions of forge, thus allowing user generated content in a console game much earlier than most other console games.
