I'm going with platforming. I just love platformers.

Currently Playing - Metroid Zero Mission

>15% ending
Normal Hard <2hrs <100% Normal Hard
<2hrs 100%
Normal Hard 2-4hrs <100% Normal Hard
>2hrs 100%
Normal Hard 4+hrs <100% Normal Hard

So how does this work with last weeks poll? which ever has the highest votes?

Shooter - More specifically First Person Shooter

my second favourite is probably RPG - Ones like Oblivion and Fallout 3.

I voted strategy, but it felt like SMG and SMW were watching me in disgust when I did it

Platformers are my favorite.

This generation, though, I like RPG's the best. There just haven't been enough platformers for the consoles yet. Ratchet is the best one so far.

Hmm, given that my two favourite genres were on last poll (luckily both passed), this time I really don't have much to choose, and I don't "love" any of those genres. I picked Racer, but it was mostly by discard, I'm not the biggest fan of any of those.

what the hell? why isnt shooter winning by a landslide as i predicted. Thats impossible, what platformer are people playing thats making them vote for it as their favorite genre?

@ deathgod

only considering 7th gen games, ranking platformers and shooters from highest selling

1) New Super Mario bros
2) Halo 3
3) SMG
4) Super Mario 64 DS
5) CoD4: 360 version

Platformers are certainly comparable to shooters in size, on consoles and handhelds at least

For me shooters for sure. Though Platformers are awesome as well.
