If it sells 10 years like this then it will but I don't believe the Wii wil exist for 10 years :s.

Simply put, no.
I sincerely doubt the longevity of the machine.
Also, I don't see third-party support blooming for Nintendo as big as it did with PS2, at least not this generation.

Nothing against the Wii, great console. I just don't think it will match PS2-type levels, although I wouldn't be overly surprised if it did.

I say NO, the wii will die off long before it comes close to beating the PS1/PS2 but it will be Nintendo's best home console. Not a bad thing for Nintendo, but great news for Sony fans.

I think it'll reach PS1 levels or DS levels with T-P support. Wii 2 = PS2-like support.

It depends. You don't know how the next console of Sony and MS will be maybe there will a new company with a new console. But THIS IS REALLY TO EARLY TO TALK ABOUT.

I personally have my doubts ...

Beyond the fact that a (moderately) large portion of PS2 sales would be replacement systems to people who already owned a PS2, the PS2 was in a position where it was (more or less) a direct replacement for the XBox or Gamecube and easily stole potential users from both platforms.

The Wii will move from a market leading position to a dominating position in the very near future, but breaking that 120 Million unit barrier will not be easy ...
