So is an 8.0 like a 10.0 for the Wii now?

It was a great review. I read the whole thing. From videos I've seen this game does a really good job of setting up a mood with the music, and voice acting. I'm thinking of getting it with house of the dead overkill.

I hope alot of people decide to get these awesome games. Everyone should be getting something.

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

An 8.0 for IGN is impressive

when it comes to the fact that most sites are biased, then yes

10 hours is way longer than that Heavenly Sword PS3 snippet of a game is, but it only gets a 8?

Why do they review Wii games based on multiplayer? Did they knock off points from Super Mario Galaxy because it doesn't have online multiplayer too?

What wii game has IGN given a bad score that deserved a good score? It's not bias, there just has been a glut of really really crappy, and at best mediocre wii games.

In my opinion "10" is a score that shouldn't be given to any game.

I wouldn't agree with that. I just think that it should be very difficult to get.  For it's time Super Mario 64, for example, probably should have gotten a 10.  Some of the newer games that are getting 10's are only getting them due to hype, anti-Wii bias, or that they're being paid off or all of the above.

Exactly.  Mario 64 is STILL the standard by which all 3D platform games are judged.  All adventure games are compared to Ocarina.  FPS are compared to Goldeneye and the first Halo.  Third-person shooters are compared to Gears.  These games, which completely change the paradigm by which all others in their genres are judged, are what deserve 10s.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
