They could get EA to make us a version...they didn't murder The Orange Box...too much...

I'm guessing that with the cost of ports and the continued losses by EA that this game will be scratched from their port to PS3 lineup. We could very well see a port to the Wii.

You keep saying things like this, but they really don't make any sense.  Go read EA's most recent SEC filings and you will be surprised to find out the PS3(39%) generates more revenues than the 360(35%).  Also, many EA titles are developed on the PS3 and ported to the 360. 

On topic, Valve laughed at the pre-order listing not a PS3 version of Left 4 Dead.  I think a pc port to the PS3 is possible.  The game has sold 1.4 million on the 360, I suspect they budgeted a higher sell through than that.  Anyway, it really is a good game and a shame more PS3 only gamers can't enjoy it.

Left 4 Dead is very good, but like all of valve's games it should be bought for PC. Buy a console version and you get delayed patches and slow/missing DLC. A ps3 version would good only if they gave it same sort of support they give the PC version, which is entirely impossible.

Meh, I'd rather have the portal expansion xD But I think this is supposed to be bad news :x So hopefully EA ports it, although I don't think it would sell very well unless ported ASAP.

i don't think ps3 owners are missing out on that much. it's a fun game, but i find it's really shallow. if you're enjoying cod, then stick with that... or wait for the upcoming killzone 2.

LOL...maybe if people keep posting false listings for the game, Valve will...laugh? LOL...I'm not sure why people can't just wait for them to official announce it first.

Are PS3 owners forbidden to buy a PC? And if a PC owner like me buys L4D for PC automatically gets forbidden to buy a PS3?   And how about Wii? Will I be able to buy one if I buy L4D for PC?

I chuckle at these threads anyways. I have a PC, and the horsepower required to run an XBOX 360 equivalent game is pretty low. I am not missing out on anything.
