To me, controls was the only issue, perhaps they'll fix it before launch or at least make it better? I hope so, seems like it could be a fun game, just needs polish on the controls and overall pace.
... Sheva gets in the way a lot? What? At least it's not Rachel (or whatever her name was) this time around, and she actually moves out of the way!
I'm sure this game is going to be like Turok: the demo didn't give the game justice. Yes, I liked Turok.

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
Don't recall Sheva getting in the way, the AI is pretty good at covering you and gathering ammo and helping you out in a bind. It's an old demo that was released a couple months back, Capcom still has some time to tighten things up. If anything they could delay RE5 to a summer release in order to add a run and gun control scheme to satiate the neysayers and tighten up the controls. This would also give SF4 some breathing room to sell instead of putting two high profile games so close to each others release dates.
Seemed kind of boring graphics were great gameplay seemed just like another game.

fact is they have turned RE5 into an over the shoulder shooter like GeoW and uncharted. Problem is, having done so, they haven't matched the gameplay or shooting mechanics of these 2 games.
You do not need to leave out shooting and moving to create tension and fear. When I was playing the zombie sections in uncharted, I was able to move and shoot and it still created enough tension and fear. It's down to atmosphere and enemy a.I.
The a.I. Isn't bad, but it isn't great either. Zombies will run at you from a distance but then slow down when they near you. Why? It doesn't make sense and nor does it help being a supposedly survival horror.
Sheva didn't come in the way when I was playing but she did cause panic and some amount of stress... obviously for the wrong reasons. You see, if she dies, you are game over and sometimes she ends up being caught in stupid situations making it a chore. Not only do you have to save yourself, but it feels like you have to babysit her and then heal her.
The camera being to close is also a problem since you can't see what's behind you unlike previous RE games. You may end up dying and feel it was a cheapshot.
On the posotive side, the graphics are awesome. I mean, they really are frigging awesome, the character design is also on par and the controls aren't a problem if you have played previous REs.
I would say it's best to play and see yourself. I have played every RE game and loved RE4, but this feels horrible to me. I don't think it's due to capcom not having updated controls and gameplay, but due to what I think, new I.p's having raised the bar. Capcom have tried mixing a few ideas when I think they should havevstuck to a style and backed it 100% rather then go 50% old RE, 50% over the shoulder new skool style.
i finally finished downloading it and i think it could be good if they didnt make it feel like an arcade game when you shoot. Its not even close to scary. the players move too slowly, the controls arent bad but in the whole ensemble it sucks

My prediction: NATAL WILL NOT help 360 sales. Maybe a 50-100k boost week 1, then a 30-70 k boost week 2, and back to the norm again after 3-5 weeks.
