It appears that RE5 is higher than KZ2, which is higher than SF4. Not a very accurate source, though.

all 3 games look great to me. but SF IV is indeed kinda niche. RE 5 is slightly farther away , and its demo is getting mixed reactions (i loved it personally). i think KZ 2 has greater internet presence because gamers hardcore enough to be on gaming sites are less likely to mind spending lots on a console (ps3). thus, you have a much higher proportion of excited ps3 owners on gaming sites compared to the overall sales gap between the systems. hence, lots of net buzz. plus i think many ps3 owners are happy to have an exclusive that seems to really show off the system's power.... it helps justify spending the extra amount of money to get a ps3 over a 360. i know i am

re5 is horrible. After playing the demo, I rather sleep with a razor blade then play re5. It's the worst over the shoulder shooter and or survival horror. You can't use horrible controls, annoying partners and stoneage gameplay as an excuse. If fear, fatal frame, uncharted, condemned and several other games can instill fear and horror with good gameplay mechanics, re5 has no excuse! Also why do the zombies charge at you then stop when they are a few feet from you! Doesn't make sense.

360 fans- gta4 dlc+halo wars> sf4>re5

People forget how big sf is. It is possibly the best beat em up ever made and us beat em up fans have been starved this gen. The long wait is almost over. Since I can't decide on kz2 or sf4, I might need to save up extra and get both!

It seems like you are taking the forums hype way too seriously. It doesnt mean anything, it's never an indicator of level of interest in a game. The game is hyped as much as it can be on forums, but the same thing can be said about every PS3/360 exclusive - as usual, fanboys do their job well.

However, is KZ2 overshadowing RE5 in eyes of the majority of gamers? Seeing how RE5 XBL demo has been downloaded almost 2 million times I would say no.

Now, all that remains to be seen is how often the Killzone 2 demo is downloaded from the PSN.

I haven't seen any hype for SF4 yet and the RE5 demo has gained mostly negativereactions.

So Killzone 2 is doing great. I haven't heard any negativity and the hype is enormous. Well done Guerilla/Sony!
