Forums - Nintendo - EA conference call - core titles coming to Wii, big support coming to Wii

With 46 million users, these companies are just stupid not to support the wii, but be careful wii fans, Its EA.

Actually I'm more excited about the impact of these news on other publishers than EA's titles themselves. However I do hope EA's games including Dead Space are good and not rushed out ports for quick cash.

Dead Space is an odd choice: it's like one of those uber-western games that seems like it would never come to Wii

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Yeah this is actually pretty huge. Dead space, boom blox bash party, and motion plus tennis all just from EA. The tides are truly turning.

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

sweet deal

It's fantastic what a sense of urgency can make a company do, isn't it? The same for Take 2 which recently said they can't ignore the Wii after being in dire financial conditions.

I read this on Joystiq, and for Dead Space, the EA guy said:

"A good example of this is Dead Space. We're bringing a Wii title to the market this year and it is absolutely going to be the quality and fear factor that you got on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC SKUs this past year"

...yeah..just like Dead Rising Wii will have the same amount...or at least a large amount of zombies on screen, and a camera mode....oh wait....

Now this is going to get Wii fans all wriled up "We told you 3rd parties would finally start moving over!" etc.....I'll just sit back and wait until they talk up crappy port #85 and call it proper 3rd party support as a talking point

So Activision is doing well right? I mean they just acquired Blizzard... hmm I'm going to wait and see till November for that answer.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

The Official Huge Monster Hunter Thread:

The Hunt Begins 4/20/2010 =D

I think it has more symbolic value than anything else. Also heard ubitsoft has a new exclusive Wii game in the works. The Western Third Parties are the only ones that have not jumped to the Wii and now with EA arguably the largest WTP throwing this much weight behind the Wii I'm almost certain others will follow suit..It's almost like the equivalent of DQX going to Wii.

What his me most though is the Billion Dollar loss. I guess their wallets breaking is what caused this shift to happen. HD gaming is pretty costly.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

They need cash anyway.

Is it just me or is the PS3 going to be the big  loser in this whole mess. I still expect MS to get some support and a few exclusives, but the PS3 is going to get ignored soon, very soon.
