EuroGamer's never given a victory to PS3 in one of these.

We've stopped caring.

Well, first of all you are wrong.

http://www.lazygamer.co.za/xbox-360/eurogamer-round-17-xbox-360-vs-ps3

Next up is The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon and some good news on this one, the PS3 version easily trounces the Xbox 360 version.

...

Tomb Raider: Underworld is next up and once again it’s a clear winner for the PS3 with an astounding 50% increase in resolution compared to the Xbox 360.

Second, we all know which 'side' you have chosen. Third, maybe its just way it is even though some of you are in denial. PS3 has got trashed by X360 in most multiplatforms. :P

EuroGamer just gave the PS3 a round?

Wow...

First the 9 for KZ2 and R2, and now this?

I'm beginning...to like them...

PS3 does not get thrashed by 360 in most multiplats. In 95% of games, the difference, whoever it is in favour of, is miniscule and almost unnoticeable. DMC4, Oblivion and Tomb Raider Underworld look better on PS3. Fallout 3, The Orange Box and Rainbow Six Vegas all look better on 360. It's basically 50:50. CoD4, GTA4, and say Soulcalibur IV all look pretty much identical on PS3 and 360.

As for those games that do look better on a certain platform, this just reflects a focus on that platform. You can't really say the PS3 hardware is crap when it runs a game like Killzone 2, now can you? Notice how PS3 exclusives have unanimously better graphics than multiplats: Uncharted, MGS4, Killzone 2, GT5P...

Yes i can say its crap cause its not full 1080p and 60fps nor SPLIT SCREEN,so its not showing anything.

All the graphics are all in your head, really its all just hype,MGS4 has medicore graphics,Uncharted is the best looking PS3 game out and coming out.

Wow, it's not split screen? The graphics must suck. Just like Crysis. Some of the worst graphics I've ever seen.

Resolution doesn't mean crap. NBA Street Homecourt runs in native 1080p, Uncharted runs in native 720p. Which looks better? The fact that KZ2 looks that good in 720p/1080i is pretty amazing.

And have you even played MGS4? I thought R2 was your only PS3 game...

If it was split screen and had those graphics it would be showing something,360 can easly produce graphics as good and have splitscreen.

The Cell and RSX are so much better than xenos but cant produce a good looking native 1080p game?

I played MGS4,i game flyd it.

I played the RE5 demo on my PS3 last night just to look at the textures. I am not sure what's wrong with the original poster's tv, but the textures/colors look the same as the 360 version. The PS3 pictures in the original post look blurry and the color palette is dull, similar to the quality of upscaled content. Maybe the PS3 pictures were scaled to 1080p as opposed to 720p?

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

Look the differences in graphics on the multiplatform games is not enough to make any person buy one over the other. The factors people are using are th system they own, if they own both then what are there friends buying and playing so they can play with them

PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.

Currently playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Halo ODST and Dragon Age Origins is next game

Xbox live:mywiferocks

I've played both demos and noticed no difference. If the difference is there but not noticeable, I couldn't care less.

Yeaa but that is more a PS3 criteria (graphics I mean).

When people ask me what console they should buy, I don't necessarily push the 360, especially if they are not online multiplayer fans...

Console is a packaged plateform : technologies/games/services. Graphics is only about technologies...

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

Uh oh... Less resolution = more resources to burn between frames. If games would still be 640x480, they would look 'amazing' if you wouldn't account resolution. Hell, make it 320x200 and you can have tens of thousands particles on the screen while game is on. Have you seen something like that in games with larger resolutions? :)

So wait... from what I'm gathering so far, is that the 360 version is sharper, and the PS3 version has better color @_@? FOR FUCKS SAKE, TELL US SOMETHING WE DON'T ALREADY KNOW.... THIS HAS BEEN THE CASE WITH LIKE 99% OF ALL MULTI-PLATS @_@

And as someone mentioned above, it's pretty obvious that this is a port. *sigh*

No it is not equal.

9\10 times the multiplat looks better on the Xbox 360, please don't outright lie.

FYI, Oblivion actually looks the same with the latest update applied to the Xbox 360 version. DMC4 looks better on Xbox 360 has better post processing. Of those games listed only Tomb Raider Underworlds looks better.

The ones you listed for the Xbox 360 also look much better not just a little.

Frame rate problems in Orange Box and Rainbow Six Vegas.

Soul Calibur is also rendered at a higher res than on the PS3.

You are not a new member and I'm sure you know all this, I'm just asking that you don't deliberately misinform people.
