The 1994 world cup in USA was just as good or as bad as most of the other ones I´ve followed on TV since 1978. So why not, there´s a big chance USA get 2018 or 2022, but ONLY if Canada is not really interested. I´m sure: If Canada want to be host in either 2018 or 2022, it will get one of them. The remaining tournament will then either go to Russia or a big Asian country.

But Qatar? No way. Blatter and his Fifa executives are greedy idiots, but unlike Ecclestone they still take their sport somewhat serious and they don´t want to destroy their biggest events.

Two European co-hosts? No, we won´t see this for the world cup, this model is established/makes more sense for the EURO.

Of course the English football fans will always step in and say “just give it to England”, but that´s obvious, as this is the only country where they´d have a small chance to win the title.

Australia would be a great host but we don't like soccer enough to deserve it. Although I'm sure if we were to host it soccer would become far more popular then it currently is.

I completely forgot Australia, the only continent that didn´t get the chance to host a football world cup yet.

So my guess for 2018 and 2022: Canada or USA for one event - Russia, China or Australia for the other one.

The good thing about an USA bid is that the hour of the games would be pretty convenient for me and my timezone (it's much better than a WC in Asia), but I hope it doesn't get it, first because the US organized one not too long ago (I know Mexico hosted two WCs in 16 years, but that's due to Colombia's problems) and second because they don't deserve it, if one WC couldn't get the best sport in the planet to be no.1 in the country (or even no.2 or 3), the WC shouldn't be there again.

Of the bidders, I'd like the Benelux or Spain/Portugal to win the bid. Definitely not Australia, China, Korea or Russia, I want the matches to be in a nice hour here

I believe only countries who have a real passion for the game should be allowed to host it providing they have lots of money to build stadiums and facilities for the 32 countries to play and fans to stay in.
I hope the US does not win the right to host the World Cup. They call the game over there soccer. It is called "football" every where else in the world except for USA, Canada and Australia.

Would love to see it being hosted by Spain/Portugal. The atmosphere to be had, and a final in Nou Camp or Bernabeu is a tasty prospect indeed
