In absolute numbers, yes. But if you see cost cuts on a percentage basis, it doesn't seem true anymore. Dropping the cost by half is always a significant effort which takes time.

By the way my logic is not failed, in fact I've been right more often that not with this logic. Of course it's just my opinion, but I think anyone can guess that seeing as I'm just a mortal man.
