i 100% believe ff13 will look the same on the 360 as it does right now on the ps3, simply because both systems are equally powerfull.

FF is S-E's graphics showcase. While many don't like FFXII's gameplay, they'll tell you that it's graphics, considering all that happens on-screen, are one of the best on ps2. It doesn't make any sense for SO4 to look better than FFXIII. FFXIII is now on 360, you don't need to view the games with fanboy goggles.

Just a suggestion... not trying to be a fanboy. But wouldn't you think the creators of ff13 would favor the ps3 version, since most of their older ones were on ps1 and ps2, i mean they are releasing a ps3 version first so they are already favouring it in one way.

Nah...the publishers haven't relesased a single game on the ps3 going on it's third year. I wouldn't call them in love with the platform.

Most of this thread is fanboy rubbish, so I'll disregard it for now. Suffice it to say that if the 360 version is inferior in any way, it will most certainly be in the sound department.

That said, the game will likely be identical. There will be disc swaps for the 360 version, however there will also be optional installs/soundtracks, ect. The PS3 will have installs as well, but they won't be optional.

The sound for the 360 version will likely be more compressed, ala 5.1. There will be virtually no difference without a 700 dollar plus 7.1 system backing your play, which virtually no one here has, except for me.

There is no point in arguing over which console the game will play better on. None of you know.

As for Star Ocean 4, well, I've never had much faith in Tri-Ace. The previous SO games were above average, but we're discussing Final Fantasy here, not some run of the mill RPG. Of course FFXIII will look and actually be better than SO4, ToV, WKC, and Verses. Period. There is no point in discussing that. It's innocent until proven guilty. Until the game proves that it isn't the baddest ass thing since sliced bread, it should be assumed AAA game of the generation, and that's all there is too it.

Now, back to your petty bickering over teh Blu-Reh, and Tri-Ace. Your logic fails you at every turn.

it will be at least on par, because it's pretty easy for developers to port from PS3 to 360 since in general, 360 has most of what PS3 does, except for storage. There's more flexible memory available for the 360.
