lulz they put party in the name

That was my first thought when I saw the name.

Pixel Art can be fun.

This should be great, and with the added party in the name, it should sell millions!

Never played the first one but it looks fun, this one looks better though so i might hold out until this one is released to play it.

Later. First you need to set up the cameras so we can all bask in your suffering.

If that sort of thing gets you off, you should set up the cameras and watch me be forced me to play this piece of trash.

I find it kinda funny how you rag on Boom Blox while owning such tripe as DK: Barrel Blast, Farcry Wii, Pool Party, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Spy Games, Fantastic Four, Obscure: The Aftermath, and Legend of the Dragon. This is of course assuming your library is correct and you didn't add these aforementioned awful games for the hell of it. Boom Blox is easily better than half of the Wii games you own.

Boom Blox is terribly overrated.  Sonic and the Secret Rings is much, much better than it.  Your opinion means nothing to me though since I don't even know who you are.  I buy some games knowing that they are going to be bad.  All I heard was how great Boom Blox was and it was horrendous.  Controls, graphics, and music were all horrible.  Worst of all, it wasn't fun at all.  The only people that I know that enjoy that game are people that were at a kegger when they played it.  Why are you looking in my game collection?  Go stalk someone else.  I am only going to cut you a little slack since you're an Okami fan.

I just wish EA would add some core games to their Wii line up. We have Bloom Blox Party, MySims Party, MySims Kart and Nascar Kart. Having a diversified portfolio of casual and core games will improve their sales and over revenue from the Wii.

I didn't like Boom Blox a lot. It had a nice concept, but the Wiimote controls weren't good enough, and it was terribly easy.

Still, I can see the elderly VGChartz members liking it.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

I'm not surprised its getting a sequel, it did win best Wii game at the Video Game Awards.

Why all the hate? Had a blast playing Boom Blox with a group. But there wasn't nearly enough variety in multiplayer.

Ton of single-player but I got bored of that. But I had no problems with the production values.

I was totally looking forward to the sequel, until they put 'party' in the name and now I can't buy it. WTF is with 'Party'? The only 'Party' game that sells is Game Party and Mario Party (but MP is hardly new) all the other blah, blah 'Party' sell like crap so why do they keep insisting on slapping it in the name? Won't help sales, in fact, it might hurt them cause now it looks like shovelware crap.

Hm, you've got a point. Of the twenty or so Wii games with the word 'party' in the title, only four have sold more than Boom Blox:

http://vgchartz.com/games/index.php?&results=50&name=party&console=Wii&keyword=&publisher=&genre=&order=Sales&boxart=Both&showdeleted=&region=All&alphasort=

On the other hand, the word 'party' does reflect this game's emphasis on local multiplayer. I'm still hoping that EA flexes their networking might and includes online play in this sequel. It would be nice to get the joys of multiplayer even when you don't have friends around to play with.
