haven't use multiple disc since star ocean 3.

I hate moving disks man, even when i buy a pc game from the shop i still download the crack for it so i never have to open the case and put the disk back in again
Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!
Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st ![]()
I dont like multi disc I remember one time I had trouble installing WoW. It took me around 25m to install it and it had 4 discs and it crashed in the end of the installation all the time. I dont remember how many times I had to redo it but I sat infront of the computer several hours I could not really leave the computer because I had to change the disc every few minutes. In the end I could install it but now I have a scrath on the 3rd disc from all the switching.
Multiple discs do piss me off, so it would help if some PC games came on blu-rays, as I remember having to install 3 of Rome Total War's CDs and that was always annoying
However, I had actually never played a multi-disc game before this gen, but then I bought Star Ocean 3 (I bought it this gen and played it on my PS3) and then LO and IU, and of course the upcoming Star Ocean 4.... It is slightly annoying, and I said blu-ray is more convenient, but it is not a major problem unless they package the disc in a paper case so that it can get scratched....
It doesn't bother me too much, but I prefer a single disc, because then they can surprise you with extra stuff. In the first Kingdom Hearts, I thought the game would be over once I rescued Kairi and beat Maleficent--boy was I mistaken. That surprise would have been ruined if I knew there was a whole other disc to go.
I prefer 1 disc, but it doesn't really matter. The fact that Blu-ray discs don't scratch is much more important to me than the number of discs a game ships with.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
No preference.
Just having discs alone annoys me.
I look for No-CD cracks for all my PC games so I can launch any of them any time without having to look through CD/DVD cases for them. Bioware (one of my favorite) companies actually unlocked their Neverwinter Nights game with one of their patches so players would no longer have to put a disc in the drive to play it.
I also like playing multiple games at the same time (see my signature). If I want to change between games on consoles, I have to swap discs. It may sound really lazy (because it is) but I would rather not have to get up to swap discs. I'd be much happier if I could just choose the next game with my controller and continue playing.
Single disc, optional install <-- Preference
Multi disc, optional install <-- Don't mind
Single disc, required install <-- Mind a little
Multi disc, required install <-- Will not buy unless it's Legend of Dragoon 2.
Good news Everyone!
I've invented a device which makes you read this in your head, in my voice!

Well, on PC, even I use cracks or images, if it is possible. Problem is, I don´t have big HDD, so I reinstall games often. And still, if you have game on CD (which is pretty common with older games) you juggle discs a lot Baldur´s Gate with 6 CD, anyone?).
But on consoles, take off my ass from sofa once for 10 hours isn´t much problem.
