Yes, but if one third of every person in Japan is a Ninja, they would be a Ninja for eight hours a day and go do Ninja things.

They would sleep eight hours, because for that time they wouldn't be Ninjas (unless they slept when they were ninjas, but ninjas don't sleep)

That leaves eight hours for work and eating.

Jackie Chan is too busy filming, Hiro is in the past, or the future, or something, playing Ocarina of Time or FF13, and girls don't play video games.

Having said that, we need to put in place a margin of error, perhaps 1%, so I conclude that this game will sell 5-9k first week.

Well Famitsu's figures are in and Ninja Blade debuted in Japan with 9,700 copies sold.

Where is From Software's income coming from?

The money MS payed for Ninja Blade, the money Sony paid for Demon's Souls.

The games made by From Software must have a very small budget, they have been making games for years and none of them sell well. Demon Souls looks cringe worthy having seen that guy playing it, that one will bomb as well.

I don't think it will. SCEJ is publishing, they did a good job with WKC, they'll sqeeze at least 70k out of Demon's Souls in Japan.

The latest screenshots look nice, btw. I think the game is well done, at least in the looks department. From what I've seen on them the gameplay is nice too.
