This is true, but I do have to say that it's also quite enfuriating. I realize the mods have their hands full as it is, and I sympathize with their workload, but when warnings and bans depend almost as much on who sees your post as what you posted, it seems like there's something wrong.
I just wish things were a bit more uniform, but I have no idea how to get around the many difficulties that prevent that from happening.

I... guess? Different mods have different opinions on what's bannable it's as judgement call. Anything short of 2 days is fair game if you ask me. Often times people post shit at like 10PM that doesn't get noitced till 10 am. So it's not ridiculious. Really though, that does seem fairly tame considering some of the other stuff he's said before he should of been banned for. Probably more of an "accumilations" type thing. |
I guess but I didn't think that was how the system worked. Kyros has never been banned before so it struck me as odd.

Nah, if people keep posting borderline stuff in the same thread or similar threads over a short period of time it can get you banned, i've seen it before.

This is prolly the reason, stating the wii is basically kiddie and no hardcore has any reason to really get it

I guess that explains things. The rules are pretty strict here.

but isnt that statement fact? there does seem to be a drought of 'hardcore' 3rd party games on the wii, although western players can and might jump onboard to play the conduit (that is the game he was referring to in the banned statement) but more probably would if there was more 'hardcore' games already out or on the way and not this "thin trickle"
Ha! Thin trickle /lol

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
