I'm just talking about seperating it the way you and Fumanchu suggested. If it can't be done correctly, which it looks like it can't, then I'd rather stick with the cold hard facts and leave the assumptions out. Assumptions are why this thread had to be made in the first place. No need to create new ones here.

I have never heard this '360 has no exclusives' line that you talk of, well until now. I've always heard people just wanting the pc/360 games not to be considered exclusives, we all know 360 has a lot of good real exclusives.

Here is were opinion comes in.

What your using isn't exactly factual and i'll explain why . Your using factual metacritic data which gives a collection of subjective reviews of a particular game ,  your use of the data is factual however the data itself isn't so factual.

It's like saying 90% of the people on my street said Halo 3 pwns the crap out Street Fighter 2 , whilst my data might be factual and indisputable the subjective nature of the data is highly open to criticism.

I shouldn't have said "believe" that gives the impression that I might think there's a possibility of me being wrong . In this situation the bolded is fact.

Any here is where fanboyism comes in.

can you remake the list showing exclusive after November 2006 because a year head start is responsible for many of the 360's exclusives. I never made the claim you're trying to discredit, I'll just like to know.

All I meant by what I said is exactly what you clarified. I don't really believe in Metacritic much. It's merely a metric I used to seperate quality generically because it's a very popular metric to use and many people here trust it enough to be acceptable. Otherwise I would have just made two long lists and said "Here you go" and every naysayer would have said, "but the PS3 games are rated higher! The 360 stuff is all shovelware!" and at that point I would have had to use Metacritic to shut everyone up. Basically it was to cut them off at the pass.

It's either you don't understand or don't want to understand what i'm trying to say. It works both ways so accusing me of being a fanboy isn't going to work on this occasion , it's like comparing the taste of oranges to apples or the enjoyment you get of listening to classical music vs gangster rap . How am I a fanboy for asserting that quality in regards to gaming cannot be scientificaly compared.
