I'll check House of the dead (I <3 rail shooters) and Tenchu ^^

Hmm, still a problem then, since none really shoehorn in.

For what it's worth, I like the same genres (although my FPS diet is purposely restricted to one title per year), and I'm getting House of the Dead, while keeping a close eye on Dead Rising. If DR sucks, I'll get Deadly Creatures instead. I plan on picking up Tenchu later down the road (March/April).

Not sure how much, if at all, that helps.

Did you guys buy six games in November alone or something? I see seven Wii games I want to buy in coming out in two months, plus some others I'm interested in, and not including the one which was mercifully delayed.

I've had a pretty easy time restricting myself to just one Wii game to buy each month until this point. Feels like the floodgates are opening to me.

Well I bought Gears 2, Mirror's Edge, Resistance 2, Left 4 Dead, Red Alert 3, Valkyria Chronicles, and my brother bought Call of Duty: World at War.

 

These are just November releases and I got more games that were released later on in the year, but hey that's not the point. I think that the Wii's first half of 2009 looks to be great due to nice flow of decent and good games.

The floodgates are opening especially in comparision to the latter half of 2008 for the Wii.

I would say Deadly Creatures looks like it will be a good game.

Definitely get Deadly Creatures. That's the game I'm most hyped about. Too bad I'll be too broke to buy it.

I think I will buy Deadly Creatures first. The hype for it really seems to have died down in the last few months and I'm worried it might bomb. The other titles can live without me for a few weeks. Dead Rising is a wait-and-see for me, if it reviews well and I have bought the others I want I will pick it up.
