Uncharted 2 PS3 pre-orders swing to retail

Advanced orders for Sony Corp.'s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves began this week at retailer Amazon.com.

Orders for the sequel held a 3,619 percent increase in sales upon availability to rank at No. 83 in Amazon's Video Games division on Fri.

The title is slated for release in late 2009.

That has to be one of the stupidest statements I've ever read. (and yes, I know that's what the article says)

Before it was available, sales would be zero. If sales weren't zero, then it was available.
