Forums - Sony - Killzone 2: GamePro Review 5/5

sounds awesome. I love it how some people are misinterpreting the quotes to make the issues sound bigger than they actually are (according to this review anyway). Also, no game is perfect but that didn't stop GTAIV and MGS4 getting perfect scores from IGN did it?
Anyway, most importantly is that so far the reviews for this game have been overwhelming positive :)

Is the frame rate issue that's mentioned that slight hiccup when loading new areas? That's not too annoying and reminds me of Half-Life in a way.

I'm pretty sure that I read another review that stated exactly that - there is a slight drop in framerate when loading new areas but there were no framerate issues when the game got 'intense'. I think it was from the australian playstation magazine which there are scans of.

Great !!!

and another 5/5 score for Street Fighter 4 !!!

Pros: Fantastic single-player campaign; even better multiplayer; amazing graphics

Cons: Frame rate issues when loading new areas; ugly menus; weapon aiming system can be frustrating

The review itself isn't very interesting, but I'll post a few interesting quotes...

"A PS3 shooter good enough to turn Master Chief green with envy."

"...already reeks of shooter of the year."

"...face-meltingly intense campaign and robust multiplayer..."

"...lives up to the hype and is a must-play FPS for fans."

Oh and they gave it game of the month against SFIV(5/5) FEAR 2(4/5), Skate 2(4/5) and various others.

I still have my doubts, but it's sounding good so far.

I am now worried for this game.

I mean it mentions halo 3 as been green with envy wow.

But aiming issues is really worrying.

What, that you can't snipe enemies from a mile away like with the AK-47 in Counter-Strike?

That con looks like it's focused on long distances if not using a sniper since there is no auto-aim. A quote mentions aiming at long distance compared to COD4, where the auto-aim in COD4 lines it up for you.

OK illegal maybe you are right still what does sloppy aiming mechanics mean I know when I played far cry 1 it put me off the game and I gave up after 4 missions.
Still its early days and hopefully it lives up to the hype.

Everyone knows Sony paid off these game reviewers!!!!!!

/Sarcasm

Thats how stupid PS fanboys sound spitting that stuff.

But KZ2 will be HUGE and AWESOME!

GamePro, a non Playstation 3 exclusive magazine, has given Killzone 2 a 5/5(10/10). Hmmmm..........What will the Haters and Nay Sayers say now?

Greatness Awaits

PSN:Forevercloud (looking for Soul Sacrifice Partners!!!)

^loook who posted up forevercloud xD.
sony doens't have money to pay reviewers? remenber they are posting lost.

with taht quote about master chief being envious........when KZ2 causes a massive surge in PS3 sales on a Halo 3 level and sells 9 million, and remains the #1 online played game after 2 years.........then well talk about being envious.

On topic, good for KZ2. I was sure not having online coop would hurt the game, guess not.
