It has me worried for The Conduit's sales.
@im_sneaky: Yeah! Who would buy a system that tracks where you point the controller for a shooting game?

What happened?!?

What happened is your maths, whilst correct, is hardly valid.
First of all, Wii games sell better over time. It is pretty much guarrenteed at this stage that the Wii version will end up higher than 12%
More importantly, you're using an invalid comparison. The right way of looking at it is
CoD3 sold 0.63 million
CoD5 has sold 0.6 million so far, and should eventually hit a million, minimum.
Therefore, the Wii's FPS userbase is increasing

i really hope this is a joke. the wii should be the main cosole for fps. The control scheme is the best that has happened to fps.

Are you being sincere or intentionally ironic?

Just not at rate that the PS3 and 360's FPS userbase is increasing?

Exactly. And, if you check the FPS, which were released in the past, then you might know why ... (Wii FPS-userbase can't increase, if there are nearly no FPS on the system ...)

If anything, the Wii is gaining them, as you just pointed out COD3 sold 600k over 2 years, CODWaW has sold 600 (or more...) in just about 2 months.
Also with the Conduit coming out, I am sure more people are going to be willing to try FPS controls out on the Wii.
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Hmm, I would want to see a full report detailing the total number of FPS games released on each console per quarter, and the sales of each before I can comment on that.
It seems to me like at the start of the gen, very few FPS games came to the Wii. Nowadays most of them are. So even if they don't have as big an increase in sales per game, the Wii FPS sales could still be rising at a comparable or higher rate than the PS360
I think the Wii has more FPS fans but it's just the games that come out for it. If they actually released an awesome game more people would buy it.
