Okay I for one am annoyed by wii on the end of a lot of game titles for nintendo's console. Its just like what they did with "64" after every N64 game. Its un-necessary really.

Are they too lazy to think up titles so they just throw "wii" at the end. You don't see "Uncharted PS3" because they decided to use a name like "Drake's Fortune" and now "Among theives". You don't see "Halo 360" either

Here's a short list of them just by typing "wii" in the game search option. I won't include Wii fit/sports/play because they follow the whole "wii" line of games. But here's the ones that bother me:

Mario Kart Wii

G1 jockey wii

karaoke joysound wii

big brain academy: wii degree

resident evil 4: wii edition (whats wrong with just Resident Evil 4?)

Powerful major league 2 Wii

Crayon shin-chan wii (more like crayon shit-chan wii)

Home Tutor Hitman Reborn! Dream Hyper Battle! Wii (I did not make this title up)

Major Wii nygero! gyroball (major wii nygero? are you serious)

okay sorry my list got longer than I intended. but you get the point.  What do you guys think, Does it piss you off or is it okay?

Super Metroid.
Super Mario World.
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Kart.
Super Adventure Island 2.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo.
Super [insert game name from the SNES era here].

How come all the games I listed are some of the best ever?

I didn't say they aren't good games, because they are. But why is the "super" before each one?

I know I'm playing the SNES, I don't need to be reminded by the game title.

Exactly. Third parties should have nothing to do with this though.

Nintendo created that concept, and if they can sell more software because of the word "Wii" in it, good for them! I have to admit seeing companies "utilize" the Wii this way (companies like Ubisoft, hehe) makes me sad. The Wii is not a dump.

I really don't care in the least.
