oh ya a ps3 price cut there is likely to happen there b4 the year ends were as for the wii it doesn't look like they'll be getting one there this year

Wat i was tring to say is that things will look intresting between the wii and ps3 wen RE5, FF13, GT5 and a price cut happen for the ps3

^ and when all the wii games come out, new colors, bundles end possible a price cut if necessary for the wii.

That would make things really interesting

Well MS tried with the 360 in Japan, the next console should do better hopefully. Good numbers for all the other consoles, DS as beastly as ever.

nice to see ps3 up into 20k, but with so4 round the corner 360 should lead in japan for a few weeks.

the wii may be supply constrained.. especially after december, they must be with problems to refill the stocks

How do you expect SONY to cut the price of the PS3. They posted losses last quarter in the games division itself during the holidays. Stop dreaming a price cut won't happen this year.

Because it would have minimal impact to their finances to sell maybe 15-30k more units per week in Japan. Strong yen helps too.
