Will a USB dongle or cheap 3rd party accessory work instead of using the 100$ Microsoft adapter?

a regular wifi adapter won't work on a 360, you have to get the MS one. there are other ways to get wifi on 360 without paying 100, but i dont know them exactly.
If you have a laptop you could use that. It only worked on a xp laptop for the J man though.
N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

It works on any OS. You just have to tweak some things in the Network settings! =P
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
Can't remember which user, but someone said that the XBOX adapter (from the first XBOX) works with the 360.
Should be much cheaper. I guess about $30-$40.... maybe less

The original adapter also works with the PS3 too (It's currently hooked to my PS3, ATM).
Only the MS Wi-Fi adaptor works. MS makes lots of money by making their console only compatible with MS accessories such HDD's, Wi-Fi adaptors, memory cards and controllers, etc.
You could do ICS through any laptop or desktop. Also the Xbox 1 wifi adapter will work.
You could also use a wireless router or wireless bridge which connects via ethernet.
Tease.

Hey, bro. Actually, the older Xbox wireless adapter works, as well as access points and repeaters. You can also flash certain routers to work as access points only, but it's too much hassle for me.
