Forums - Sony - RFOM 1 > RFOM 2: Its not an improved sequel and the sales prove it.

@ squilliam, ssj: those chameleons always come from the front (depending on the way you were walking), so if you're walking sideways and hear them coming, turn to the side you were walking towards (even if you were looking at another side).

They are annoying as hell, but aside from the introduction and the spaceship, I don't think they pose much of a threat, although I would've preferred them to be out of the game for the "dead because I panicked"-reason too.

Storyline, hmm, was flawed indeed, but the sense of war was present, and the fact that they made it feel like you weren't the only one there, was also very good. The added information about Warner and so on in co-op missions is also a nice touch, but they should've fleshed out the chars in the singleplayer too (with side missions or something, I don't care, but not ONLY with simple intel maps).

"and the sales may be suffering for it"

Do you mean it's selling well, but could be selling better?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

From every news indication, R2 was better.

If you played co-op online with lots of people like i did, you would hear a lot of people loved RFoM and not so much R2 but they loved the new co-op.  Most of the people i know have stopped playing R2, but during the first month they would of bought any DLC co-op stuff.

Aren't you guys scared that Killzone 2 will kill all the legs of R2??

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

The second one was definitely a much better game, but it was no Call of Duty, no Gears of War, and no Left 4 Dead.

It was just a very good FPS with some bad choices.

Oh and it's outselling Resistance Fall of Man.

i remenber mods like ben and many people hyping it >_>. r2 never had hype and no one ever said resistance 2 was going to save the ps3, its other fanboy saying that the ps3 doens't need savers it got good games itself already just look a 2009 line up.

and make profits.

at much r2 got was about it deserve better sales, and the co op online was fun .

Very poor analysis.

Particularly mindless to compare R2 sales with current H3 sales.

Resistance isn't a high-profile shooter, we know, but this isn't a decent thread either.

Nah, Resistance 2 is much better. And if it's only sales people care about, it's selling 3 times as much as the first Resistance in the same time period as people have pointed out.
