It appears that the PSP2 will be launched next year (japan only IMO). What about the specifications? Plz people don't enter in the "GPU 32rxdlmd 687 pwz" and all the stuff, just simple talk ^^ So we know that one of the strenght of the PSP is its graphics capabilities. No need to talk about god of war, crisis core and tekken dark ressurection, you know what I"m talking about. So we could think that sony will make a powerfull PSP2 but we also know that they have some financial trouble, they'll probably try to sell a "cheap" PSP2. On the other hand, DS offers pretty low graphics capabilities, but has all the stuff about touch screen ... But now, nintendo has the money and the reputation, I think they could try to "kill" sony on the handheld market and make a powerfull DS2 (something like wii). Thoughts?

The PSP is more powerful - and is still a distant second.

PSP2 will be more powerful looking at the DS and PSP, do not expect the DS2 to have a huge tech leap and the PSP a tiny one.

You don't know nintendo, or Iwata. Nintendo will make no attempt to "kill" Sony.

They will only respond to the PSP2 if it enters the expanded market. If not, there won't be another DS for a while. If they do have to respond, I'm not sure how they will do it, it's Nintendo after all, it won't be obvious.

I'm not talking about that Oo Just trying to know which one will be the most powerfull, that's all.

Personally, I don't expect a PSP2 from Sony. While it's been moderately successful, hardware-wise, and made them a bit of profit, it has one of the lowest attach rates in the history of our industry. I honestly can't see them trying again.

Well its hard to say really, PSP is obviously more powerful then the DS in every way, and is the only handheld to rise up and rise against nintendo with great results and exclusives, However... Nintendo is freaking rich at this point in time, and they MAY or MAY not tweak there next handheld to be on Par with the PSP2 or whatever its called.

At anyrate this is a long ways off, but overall i'd bet an On-Par conclusion may happen, though lately sony is known for putting "teh" "Powah" in eveything they do now so meh..
