Killzone 2 is being drummed up as a killer app for the PS3.  Talk of it having the best graphics and blowing away any other console FPS.  One review said it made Gears of War 2 look like "a high school effort".  If this is all true, then the next questions: How much will Killzone 2 outsell Halo 3 ODST by?  ODST is the FPS entry in the Halo series this year.  It doesn't have Master Chief, but it bears the Halo 3 name.

Anyone have a prediction they will stand by?

basically kz2 WILL be outsold by Halo ODST by 1.5 million

- 1.2 Million if the next Halo is really bad, -3.5 if is like a regular Halo without the MC off course...

While I have no doubt Killzone will be the better game it saddens me to think that Halo will actually have more sells. I'm going to guess by 2 million simply because Halo has become comparable to music in a sense that it's the artist that sold out.

Halo is already a series that sells well, and KZ1 didn't really do that hot

Hmmm, Halo ODST vs Killzone 2... The first has to live up to the name Halo, the 2nd has to get out from under the shadow which is Call of Duty IV.

Bungie, you can never discount them... especially on the multi-player. Killzone 2 has great multi-player from personal experience BUT no offline splitscreen. The name Halo will net it a 1.5M advantage and the fact that KZ2 has no offline split screen will net another 500k, and the Xbox 360 advantage is worth another 1M so assuming they are equally good Halo ODST will outsell KZ2 by 3,000,000 sales
