Forums - Gaming - games that you loved and think where underrated commercially and critically

pirates of the caribbean for pc. its one of the best rpg's ive ever played, yet nobody seems to give a rats ass about it.
Majoras Mask deserved better sales, but its relative commercial failure was probably due to the n64 being on its death bed.
The godfather for wii was pretty good, in my eyes

This thread pops up every once in a while, and I always say Freedom Fighters

That game was so sweet

Illusions of Gaia / SNES

Guardian Crusade / PS

From this generation it's No More Heroes. Should have sold x10 times as many copies and reviewed at least a point better on average.

i loved ring of red on the ps2 yes it had its niggles but it was a underrated strategy game also on the ps1 iloved a game called future cop : lapd  i wish both had done better

The only real problem with ring of red was how damn long the battles took.  I mean it felt like an hour to get through the early ones.

I could name off dozens of games for this list.... like

Collesium: Road to Freedom: Full of technical flaws, not the pretiest game and not coplex... but the gameplay is just loads of fun.

MLB Power Pros: The best baseball game out there, great as far as a simulator goes despite the characters not looking like it.  Full of more stats then any baseball fanatic could want... and has an awesome RPG mode.

Eternal Darnkess: Creepier then any other horror game last gen by a lot... basically it was the only creepy game last gen outside of Killer 7... which wasn't even a horror game.

Phantom Brave:  People applaud disgaea... but the SRPG community doesn't like this game because it doesn't have the wacky Disgaea humor.  However it's the far superior game when it comes to gameplay and game mechanics.
