Just don't smoke and play on your ds at the same time... doesn't take much to mistake your sigarette for your stylus... Like I once did.... >_< luckly it was my GF DS... xD

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

ive worried about that!
theres many times you almost burn your hand playin and smokin, or you forget to smoke and dump a pile of ash in your lap.

I don't get why some people still say that Wiifit wont make you any fitter. Just start of by imagining doing pushups, situps, and a variety of other exercises at a gym, doing that will make you fitter right? so why would that change just by putting a little white board under your feet, if anything that will motivate people to do more of the exercises as you can see yourself improving.
OT: I would imagine that it would work, but remember that will power is the strongest tool you will need, and if you still find it hard then get patches, and I hear that the nicotine losinges are really good too. |
I think it's because some people don't know the difference between fitness, weight loss and muscularity (if that's a word?)

if it's Allen carr then it might work - I smoked since I was twelve and gave up at the age of 34. I'd tried loads of times but failed but then I read the Allen Carr book and took one or two things from it (although a lot of it was either common sense or rubbish) and it made me realise how much it brainwashes you and it's nothing to stop if you really want to.
I now haven't had a cigarette for 8 months or a spliff in 3 and a half years (although the Allen Carr method encourages you not to count the days as it states you are a non smoker from the minute you put your last fag out and whats the point in saying "I haven't amoked in xxx months" as nothings gonna change and your waiting to fail that way) - dont miss it at all.
I have gotta say though i now spend a lot more money on gaming as I guess this is my way of occupying myself when I'm in the house now and sitting around bored.
I had a similar program on my pc, but it didn't really do anything special.
Have you tried Chantix? Its a smoking cessation pill that actually works.. I quit smoking for a year, got stressed and started again.. but I'll be using Chantix again next month.
Good luck in quitting!

Do I ask my doctor? Or is is herbal?
You have to have a prescription for it.. but its expensive unless you have good insurance or live in Canada..
The anti smoking product industry must be the best businesses to run, you are selling an addictive product for pretty high prices, and everyone loves and respects you for it XD.
| Pyramid Head said: This is my first thread after lurking for ages. Hooray :P. Anyway, I just picked up Ubisofts 'My Quit Smoking Coach'. I've been smoking for almost ten years, and want to stop. Has anyone on here used this, or heard of anyone using it (or the books its based on)? Does it actually work? Will it help? (and yes I know everyone hates Ubisofts non games, but Wii Fit helped me get in shape, so why not try?) |
Since you already picked it up, there is no reason not to try. Hope it helps. Then tell us about your experience. :)
I quit last October. Just stopped buying them after my smoking friends left for a while. Not being around other smokers helps a lot too. But it was still hard for me.
EDIT: Why not also make this a blog about your experience? You might get some motivation from people. :)
