I loved my Genesis, but if I were to answer which console I thought was better and gave me more enjoyment, I would have to go with my trusty N64.

Adjusted for time inflation. Genesis.

Much better actually as it had every game at the time you wanted to play other than a few Square RPGs, Mario, Zelda and Metroid. Third party support was great on the Genny. N64, not so much.

N64 is a better processor and it had Goldeneye...

At the time, I didn't have a Genesis. I did keep track of it, and it appeared to have a constant flow of good games until near the end of it's life. The N64 had a ton of good games, but there were plenty of months where there was nothing to buy. Also, Genesis games (and sprite based games in general) aged better than games from the 64-bit/ 32-bit era.

I gotta say Genesis. But the Genesis still wasn't as good as the Super Nes!
